Welcome to Ellamber Park Equestrian, a leading horse riding school located in Broadford, Victoria. Led by nationally accredited equestrian coach Mary Denton, our training facility offers a range of lessons and clinics designed to inspire riders to truly connect with horses.
At Ellamber Park Equestrian, we provide friendly and positive coaching with a focus on creating a solid foundation. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced rider, our lessons cater to all skill levels. We believe in building technical skills as riders progress, allowing them to develop their equestrian abilities.
You have the option to bring your own horse or enjoy the company of our school horses. Our experienced and well-trained horses have been with us for several years and come with extensive club and competition experience. They are all equipped with quality tack to ensure a safe and enjoyable lesson experience.
Our private lessons are the heart of our programme, offering a friendly and uplifting environment where riders can immerse themselves in everything related to horses. All lessons are conducted by Mary Denton, a nationally accredited coach with 35 years of coaching experience. Lesson durations vary up to 1 hour, and riders aged 4 and above are welcome.
We offer a range of lesson options, including learning to ride, ladies' confidence, dressage, poles, horse care, work in hand (lungeing, double lungeing, long reining), groundwork, competition work, and NDIS sessions. Additionally, we provide after school lessons, a pony squad social club, and kids' school holiday clinics.
To ensure the well-being of our horses, we have a maximum weight limit of 85 kgs for riders using our school horses. However, lessons in groundwork have no weight limitations. Please note that all lessons are subject to our Terms & Conditions, and information regarding lesson fees and availability can be found on our Book Online page.
In addition to our lessons, we offer gift certificates, perfect for any horse lover. You can purchase a digital gift certificate or opt for quality cards and envelopes. Simply contact Mary on 0428 260 127 with the recipient's name, age, and experience level, and we will promptly organise the gift certificate for you.
To ensure your place in our lessons, we highly recommend booking ahead as our lessons tend to fill up quickly. Bookings can be made online, and upon confirmation, you will receive a reminder for your scheduled lesson.
