Edington Village Hall, located in Bridgwater, is not just a typical village hall; it is a versatile venue that doubles as a dance club. With its spacious and well-equipped facilities, it serves as the centre of the community, hosting various events, parties, exhibitions, and regular activities.

The main hall of Edington Village Hall is licenced to hold up to 150 people for parties, 120 when seated for a meal, or 277 for exhibitions and other events. It provides ample space for guests with 30 folding tables, 6 large tables, and 130 upholstered chairs, along with an additional 30 chairs. The main strip lighting creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and for special occasions like dances and parties, the hall also features four LED down lighters that can be programmed to give a disco effect.

The dance floor itself is perfect for those who love to groove, measuring 17 metres long by 9 metres wide, with a maple floor specifically designed for dancing. For theatrical performances, the hall can transform into a fully curtained and fitted stage, measuring 8. 5 metres by 4. 5 metres, complete with a lighting system, roof-mounted lighting bars, and rigging for backcloths and scenery flats.

Access to the stage is through the adjacent committee room, which can also serve as a changing room.

When it comes to audio and visual equipment, Edington Village Hall doesn't disappoint. It boasts an excellent sound system with four JBL speakers, a 24-channel lighting board, dimmer boards, floods, Fresnel's, and LED lamps. The hall also features a 12-channel sound board with a built-in amplifier, which can be linked with the hall's PA system. In addition, there are three on-stage microphones, a handheld microphone, and a lapel microphone.

For presentations or movie screenings, a projector, a 10ft electric screen, and a DVD and CD player are available. The hall even has a scenery dock for additional storage space.

Parking is hassle-free at Edington Village Hall, with a car park accommodating up to 44 vehicles. There is also overflow parking available on-site and nearby for larger events held in the evening or on weekends.

For meetings or smaller gatherings, the hall offers a fully carpeted committee room measuring 7 metres by 4 metres. It features a boardroom table with 12 chairs, which can be supplemented with additional chairs from the main hall. The room can be arranged in a row seating configuration to accommodate approximately 25 people. Equipment such as a screen, projector, laptop, and DVD player can be provided upon request.

Adjacent to the committee room, there is a kitchen, eating area, and toilets, including facilities for disabled individuals. These areas can be hired separately as a suite.

The foyer of Edington Village Hall is furnished with bistro-type tables and chairs, creating a cosy area for guests to relax and enjoy their drinks while still being close to the main hall's action. This space is especially ideal for wedding parties to gather and greet their guests before proceeding to the main hall for the wedding breakfast. The committee of the village hall is licenced to sell alcohol, and they are more than willing to discuss any specific requirements.

Lastly, the venue boasts a modern catering kitchen that can be opened up to the main hall and is conveniently linked to the bar service area. Equipped with an industrial cooker, refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave, warming ovens, instant water heater, and crockery and cutlery for 150 people, the kitchen provides easy access to the main hall, allowing for seamless food and beverage service.
