Welcome to the Edinburgh SRF Meditation Circle, a Yoga studio located in the beautiful city of Edinburgh in Scotland. Our main goal is to provide a space where individuals can come together to meditate and cultivate inner peace, calmness, concentration, and devotion in their spiritual journey towards seeking God.
The Edinburgh SRF Meditation Circle is affiliated with the Self-Realisation Fellowship (SRF), a religious non-profit organisation founded by the renowned spiritual teacher Paramahansa Yogananda in Los Angeles in 1920. Yogananda's teachings emphasise the direct personal experience of God and the evolution of one's consciousness towards God Consciousness through self-effort.
At our studio, we offer group meditation sessions that provide a supportive and conducive environment for individuals to deepen their meditation practise. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator, you are welcome to join our community and embark on this transformative journey together.

The aims and ideals of Self-Realisation Fellowship are rooted in the dissemination of scientific techniques for attaining direct personal experience of God. These aims include the establishment of temples for God-communion worldwide, the revelation of the harmony and oneness of original Christianity and Yoga, the encouragement of daily devotional meditation as the divine highway to God-realisation, and the liberation of individuals from physical, mental, and spiritual suffering. Furthermore, Self-Realisation Fellowship seeks to promote unity, brotherhood, and cultural understanding between East and West.
In addition to our meditation sessions, we also host monthly meetings on the first Sunday of each month from 11:00 to 13:00. However, please make sure to check our events calendar for any variations or updates to the timetable.
