Eclipse Performance Centre is a state-of-the-art triathlon performance centre based in Victoria Park, Perth, Western Australia. With a strong focus on providing top-notch coaching and services, Eclipse PC caters to athletes of all age groups and abilities.
Led by the highly acclaimed Head Coach and Director, Stuart Durham, who has dedicated the last 20 years to coaching triathlon, Eclipse PC prides itself on its expertise in Junior Development and U23 Performance. Coach Stu is one of the best coaches in Western Australia and has the results to prove it. His passion lies in developing junior athletes in a way that reduces injury and fosters longevity in the sport. He holds a qualification as a Level 2 Performance Triathlon Australia Coach and was awarded Triathlon WA's Age Group Coach of the Year for 2016-2017.
Working alongside Coach Stu is Kevin Netto, an Associate Professor at Curtin University and the Director of Research at the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science. Kevin has a doctorate in biomechanics and is also qualified as a sports scientist. With his expertise, Kevin and his students at Curtin University study and work with Eclipse PC's performance athletes to determine muscular demands, reduce injury risks, and improve overall performance. Kevin also coaches the Strength and Conditioning sessions at the centre.
Bonnie Durham, as the Athlete Management Director at Eclipse PC, brings her expertise in athlete management and mentoring to the team. She ensures that athletes remain focused on their goals and works collaboratively with national sporting bodies, parents, and external providers to get the best out of the Eclipse team. Bonnie is particularly interested in the development of junior and U23 athletes and is passionate about understanding the emotional and mental effects of high-performance training on young athletes. She holds a qualification as a Level 1 Development Triathlon Australia Coach.
Eclipse PC offers a wide range of services, including their popular Swim Squad, group training sessions, personalised programmes, and other exciting fitness programmes. The centre also provides a Triathlon WA endorsed Junior & U23 Development pathway programme, which offers qualification opportunities into their prestigious Eclipse Academy. Additionally, they offer top-notch Age Group coaching, led by Stu Durham, the Triathlon WA Age Group Coach of the Year.
