Echuca & District Trail Horse Riding Association (EDTHRA) is a sports club in the Campaspe Shire of Victoria, Australia. The club was formed on March 30th, 2011 by a small group of individuals who shared a love for horses, the outdoors, and camaraderie. EDTHRA aims to provide a non-competitive leisure horse pursuit for its members, allowing them to enjoy the heritage and beauty of the surrounding district.
EDTHRA organises monthly rides in the area, ranging from day rides lasting approximately 3–6 hours to weekend rides that cover the entire weekend. Members are also welcome to simply relax around the campfire and enjoy the camp atmosphere if they don't wish to ride the entire time.
Monthly meetings are held in Echuca on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm, and all individuals, whether they own a horse or not, are invited to attend.
On December 29th, 2015, the club opened its own club rooms located in Rotary Park, just off Rose St, Echuca. These club rooms provide a dedicated space for members to gather and socialise.
EDTHRA is governed by a team of dedicated executives. The current executives include President Kerry Tyler, Secretary Annemarie Norman, and Treasurer Julie Webster. These individuals can be contacted for more information about the club and its activities.
EDTHRA offers a range of benefits to its members, including access to ATHRA (Australian Trail Horse Riders Association) club membership. This membership provides riders with confidence and insurance coverage while participating in rides and events. Members also have the opportunity to purchase great value merchandise and enjoy discounts from ATHRA Partners.
Whether you are an experienced rider or new to horse riding, joining EDTHRA allows you to become part of Australia's top representative body for Trail Horse Riders. Explore the beauty of the Echuca and District area while forging new friendships and embracing the equestrian lifestyle.
