Encounter with the concept of mind-body connexion, which intrigued me and sparked a curiosity to further explore the benefits of incorporating breath-work and mindfulness into exercise.
This newfound passion led me to pursue a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, where I delved deeper into understanding the complexities of the human body and the role of movement in optimising health and wellbeing. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to work with individuals with various health conditions, such as chronic pain, pelvic dysfunction, hypermobility, and spondyloarthropathies. This hands-on experience further emphasised the importance of individualised and personalised approaches to treatment.
With a deep belief in the power of knowledge, I make it a priority to educate my clients about their conditions and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment. During each session, I take the time to answer any questions, explain the purpose of assessments and movement selections, and provide ongoing education. Together, we then create a plan that suits their unique circumstances and goals.
As an Integrative Exercise Physiologist, I combine breath-work, mindful movement, and education to help individuals manage and improve their pelvic dysfunction, chronic pain, or invisible illness. I take an evidence-based approach, integrating scientific knowledge, clinical experience, and client perspectives to provide comprehensive and effective programmes. I am constantly evolving and staying updated on the latest research and techniques to ensure that I provide the highest quality of care to my clients.
