Welcome to Easts Dragon Boat Club! Located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Easts is the premier dragon boat club in the area. Established in 2003, Easts offers its members the opportunity to compete in male, female, and mixed categories at DBNSW Regattas.
Easts prides itself on delivering regular training sessions each week, led by our team of 5 experienced coaches. With their wealth of dragon boating knowledge, no session is ever the same! Members receive guidance on form and technique, all while enjoying the magnificent backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
Dragon boat paddling is an inclusive sport suitable for people aged 12 and over, regardless of fitness level. It provides a low-impact workout that combines cardio and strength training. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, there's a spot in the boat for you at Easts.
Beyond the excitement of competing on the water, Easts members also enjoy a vibrant social scene. The club hosts an annual Christmas Party and various social events throughout the year that are open to all members. Dragon boat paddling is accessible for people aged 12 and over with any level of fitness, and it delivers a low impact workout with cardio and strength. Whether you are straight off the football field or just starting out, there is a spot in the boat for you at Easts.
We meet at the Rose Bay Scout Hall on Vickery Avenue with training times listed for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays (come and try day), and Sundays. For example, Saturdays run from 7.00am to 9.00am and Sundays from 7.45am to 9.30am.
Come and try with your first month free. You can also join the Saturday come and try day sessions.
