East Coast Amateur Boxing Academy in Halifax is a traditional boxing club that prides itself on being a no-frills, fun, and safe environment for individuals to improve their fitness and lead a healthy lifestyle. With a focus on developing courage, determination, and strength of character, boxing at East Coast Amateur Boxing is not just an exercise but also a skill and a sport. The club welcomes people of all genders, ages, and fitness levels to join one of their classes.
The club offers a variety of classes including Women's, Mixed, Senior, Competitive, and Private classes, catering to different preferences and skill levels. Mixed Boxing Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while Women's Non-competitive classes are offered every Tuesday and Thursday. New Boxer Orientation classes are available on the first Tuesday and Thursday of each month, subject to availability.
In response to COVID-19 regulations, East Coast Amateur Boxing Academy follows the guidelines set by the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Boxing Canada. Masks are optional, and individuals who feel unwell or test positive for COVID-19 are encouraged not to visit the club at that time, in order to prioritize the safety and health of everyone.
