It is also important not to feed or leave food for animals, stay on designated roads and walking tracks to prevent erosion, and properly dispose of rubbish and recyclable waste as bins are not provided. While dogs are permitted, they must remain under control and on a leash at all times.
Managed by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) under the Forestry Act 1959, Brooyar State Forest aims to preserve and present its natural and cultural values while providing nature-based recreational opportunities.
