Vicki's journey in yoga began in 1997, under the guidance of her mentor Ruth Lovell. Inspired by her teacher, Vicki embarked on the path of yoga and became a certified teacher through the Sivananda Organisation in 2002. Over the years, she has had the privilege to practise with numerous renowned teachers from different yogic traditions, broadening her understanding and expertise in the diverse aspects of yoga.
In 2021, Vicki embraced a fresh challenge and completed the teacher training course offered by the Forrest Yoga Community. This immersive experience, led by Ana Forrest herself, provided Vicki with valuable insights and expanded her teaching repertoire. In addition to her yoga training, Vicki also holds a Diploma in Ayurveda Diet & Lifestyle, obtained from Ayurveda Pura under the guidance of Dr Deepa Apte. This enriches her knowledge and allows her to incorporate the wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga's sister science, into her teachings.
The philosophy of Drop In Yoga extends beyond the physical practise on the mat. Vicki is dedicated to creating a holistic and nurturing experience for her students. By combining yoga and Ayurveda principles, she encourages individuals to achieve harmony between their body, mind, and nature.
