Dromana Bowls Club currently has a membership of approximately 150 individuals and continues to grow as it actively engages with the local community. The club's aim is to promote the game of lawn bowls, not only among experienced players but also among younger and working individuals. To achieve this, the club has introduced new initiatives such as night bowls, a community bowls programme, and a junior bowls programme. These programmes offer coaching and support arrangements specifically designed for individuals under 18 and under 25 years old.
The club offers a variety of bowling programmes throughout the week. On Saturdays, the club selects the game format based on the number of players. It is recommended to arrive early for a 10:30 am start time. Mondays feature 3 Bowl Triples, where teams can either be self-nominated or individuals can add their names to the emergency list.
Wednesday evenings are reserved for Twilight Social Bowls, which start at 6:00 pm. Thursdays also feature club-selected games, with the format depending on the number of players.
