Kids Swimming Lessons At Dolphin Swim Academy Wimbledon, we are proud to offer a range of swimming lessons for children aged 3 years and up. Our lessons are tailored to each child's unique needs, abilities, and skills. Our expert swimming instructors have over 20 years of combined experience working with children in and around the water.
Our swim school lessons are designed to help children become accustomed to and confident in the water. Whether your child is a beginner or has previous swimming experience, we have classes suitable for their skill level. Our beginner and intermediate classes provide more advanced swim skills, ensuring each child progresses and develops their abilities.
Indoor Swimming Pool Our swimming facility at Wimbledon College features a spacious indoor swimming pool, measuring 25 metres in length and 10 metres in width. The pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, offering a pleasant environment for swimming. With a shallow end of 1 metre and a deep end of 2. 7 metres, our pool caters to swimmers of all abilities.
Our swimming lessons are conducted in small groups, with a maximum of 6 children per teacher in our beginner classes and 7 children per teacher from the beginner plus level onwards. In addition, we have helpers in the water to assist the teachers with larger classes, ensuring each child receives individual attention and guidance.
Our Classes We offer a comprehensive and structured lesson programme, split into 6 different levels. Each level is denoted by a different coloured hat, ensuring clarity and organisation. Our lessons follow the badge scheme enforced by the ASA and STA governing bodies for swimming, providing a clear progression path for each child's swimming skills.
