Are you the owner of Descend Bike Park?

Descend Bike Park, located on Windy Bank Road in Bishop Auckland, is a haven for cycling enthusiasts in New Zealand. Known for its thrilling downhill tracks and 4X courses, the park offers an exhilarating experience for riders of all levels.
Park entry for a full day is priced at 15 and grants access to all downhill and 4X tracks. For those looking for a shorter session, an afternoon entry (from 12 onwards) is available for 8. Additionally, the park operates an uplift service for 37. 00 per person, which includes park entry.
Uplifts are conducted by the park's dedicated staff on a weekly basis, with advanced online bookings required. Riders must secure their bikes to the uplift trailer, but if any assistance is needed, the friendly staff are more than happy to lend a hand.
The uplift service operates from approximately 9:30 am (signing on from 9 am) until around 3 pm, giving riders ample time to enjoy the tracks. The drop-off point at the top of the track provides direct access to the main DH courses, and it's only a quick 2-minute roll from the bottom of the finish area to the uplift pick-up point. However, it's important to note that the minimum requirement of 6 riders must be met for each uplift. In the event that the minimum is not achieved, the park will contact riders.
Booking cancellations and refunds are subject to certain conditions. Cancellations received 14 days or less prior to the booking date will not be eligible for refunds, and a 5 admin fee will be charged for cancellations made before this time. Personal uplifts should not take place under any circumstances.
Descend Bike Park boasts an impressive array of tracks for downhill and 4X riding. The park offers five main downhill tracks starting from the top and extending to the midway point. From there, riders have the option to choose from eight different bottom sections, each presenting its own unique challenges. The top sections are fast and flowy, with alternative routes providing less demanding options.
The bottom sections, on the other hand, are highly technical, featuring steep rock sections, drop-offs, banked corners, and step-downs. Riders will find multiple lines and options to keep them engaged and exhilarated.
The 4X track at Descend Bike Park is equally exciting, starting with a 16ft roll-in and a mechanical start gate. Riders navigate three table tops that lead into the first corner, which offers inner and outer berms as options. The track then progresses into a jump, a bowl, and a large table-top with two landings. Additional features include an optional rhythm section, a flat corner, a ski jump or gap jump into a step-up, two table tops, another step-up, and a large table-top.
Riders can choose to tackle a large ski jump or gap jump, or roll over optional doubles. The track concludes with a steep banked corner, inner and outer berms, and a large step-up with the option for a triple or double gap jump, or a ski jump/gap into the finish.
Safety is paramount at Descend Bike Park, and all riders are required to wear a “Full Face” helmet on all tracks. The park also recommends the use of full body armour and gloves for maximum safety. Riders should always ride within their skill level and use a suitable mountain bike. Following the park's and forestry advisory signage is crucial, as is respecting other users at all times.
In the event of an accident or danger, riders are encouraged to report it to park staff. Furthermore, compliance with all park rules is mandatory, and personal uplifts are strictly prohibited.
Descend Bike Park is proud to partner with various organisations and individuals in the cycling community to create an inclusive and exciting environment for riders.
