
Dave is delighted to welcome everyone to Desborough & Rothwell Running Club, based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Founded in October 2013 by a group of enthusiastic runners, the club is here for local runners of all abilities.
Whether you're a beginner starting your running journey or a seasoned runner aiming for your next challenge, this club caters to all. Desborough & Rothwell Running Club offers regular running groups that welcome everyone and provide a supportive environment.
Dave and the team, with their extensive experience in running for fitness, pleasure, and various distances, are committed to helping members achieve their goals. The club meets at the Desborough Conservative Club every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm, and a group run also takes place on Sunday mornings at 8 am. With 75 current members of varying abilities, there's plenty of opportunity to connect and share advice about running. Whether preparing for a couch to 5K or a marathon, members are there to support you.
Affiliated with England Athletics, the club participates in local events like the Corby parkrun and well-known events across the UK, entering both individual and team events on various terrains.
To join, simply download the Membership Form from the website, fill it in, and bring it along to a session. The community is eager to welcome new members.

For beginners and those returning to running, there's the D. R. C Couch to 5K (C25K) course, designed to help you gradually progress to running 5K. The course offers tips to help you enjoy your journey from couch to 5K.
