In the previous year alone, 23 teams proudly represented the club in the Grand Finals, with 11 of those teams becoming premiership title winners. This outstanding accomplishment led to De La being named Junior Tackle Club Champions, Junior Tag Club Champions, and Junior Club Champions at the prestigious Cronulla Junior Rugby League awards.
