Alexah-Taylor runs Defy Gravity Pembrokeshire, a pole dance and alternative fitness studio in Milford Haven. With over a decade of experience, Alexah-Taylor is passionate about helping women become their best selves.
Defy Gravity stands out as Pembrokeshire’s only PDC Approved, Xpert trained, syllabus-based, and fully insured pole dance school. Alexah-Taylor, a PDC Approved Level 4 Star Instructor and Xpole Xpert 1&2, is also certified in pole silks, flexibility, and stretching for pole and aerial disciplines. Additionally, she is a qualified Hatha and Ashtanga Level 3 Yoga Teacher and a member of the Yoga Alliance.
Since starting pole dance classes in Pembrokeshire in 2006, Alexah-Taylor has brought national pole championship heats and charity shows to the area. The PDC Approved school offers the internationally recognised Advancement and Accreditation Scheme alongside its own syllabus.
Defy Gravity caters to everyone from complete beginners to advanced levels, promoting a positive and confidence-building environment. Their classes are not only educational but also great fun, teaching some amazing moves. They also offer alternative fitness classes like Serpent Power, a blend of belly dance and yoga.

Throughout her career, Alexah-Taylor has competed nationally and performed with top names in the industry at events like the UK Pole Dance Day Show and the All Wales Championships. She has also judged at various pole dance championships.
