Belly dance, originating from the Middle East, is a dance form with Arabic influences that has gained tremendous popularity worldwide. It is a dance predominantly practised by women and is characterised by the dancer's graceful and versatile movements, particularly the shaking of the hips and abdomen to fast-paced rhythms. Belly dance is known for its elegance, versatility, and ability to convey an Arabian atmosphere. In recent years, it has become a popular form of exercise, especially among women looking to lose weight.
Yoga, on the other hand, has become a lifestyle for modern individuals. Originating from ancient India, it has gained global popularity due to its captivating charm. Unlike traditional aerobic exercises, yoga focuses on inner transformation, changing one's mental and physical state from the inside out. It offers excellent benefits for students, working professionals, fashionable women, and even postpartum mothers who are seeking weight loss and body shaping.
Yoga is a holistic practise that enhances individuals' physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual capabilities by improving their awareness and helping them tap into their full potential. The ancient Indians believed in the unity of humans and the divine, integrating the principles of ethics, selfless action, a stable mind, religious responsibility, detachment, meditation, and alignment with the natural and creative forces of the universe into their daily lives.
