Diane Moore, the founder of Crystal Steps, discovered line dancing during a difficult time in her life. After attending a line dance weekend on the Isle of Wight, she fell in love with the activity and decided to learn and teach it herself. In 1996, she became a qualified line and couple dance instructor and opened her first club in Twyford. Since then, Diane has dedicated herself to teaching line dancing and seeing people enjoy themselves at the clubs.

Ted Moore, Diane's husband, also started his line dancing journey after meeting Diane. Initially a non-dancer, Ted became fascinated with line dancing and learned from Diane. In 2000, he qualified as a fully-fledged line dance instructor and now teaches beginners and intermediates. Ted ensures a supportive and encouraging learning environment, and rest assured, he won't be slapping the back of your legs like Diane did to him during their earlier dancing days!

At Crystal Steps, there is a wide variety of classes available throughout the week, catering to different difficulty levels. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced dancer aiming to improve your skills, you'll find the perfect class for you.
