Is a strength and conditioning program consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise, gymnastics (body weight exercises), and weightlifting (power and olympic). It can be best described as constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity across different times and workout formats. A class runs for 1hr and typically includes a warm up, strength or skill segment, then the WOD “Workout of the day” and finishes off with a cool down stretch. The goal of CrossFit is to improve the 10 aspects of a person’s fitness, these aspect are as follows: cardiovascular & respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, co-ordination, agility, balance and accuracy
