Crescent Town Fitness Centre, located in the vibrant Crescent Town neighbourhood of Toronto, is a community-focused gym that has been serving residents since 1971. The facility is jointly managed by York Condominium Corporation No. 76 and Pinedale Properties Ltd, and operates as a not-for-profit organization with an elected Board of Directors representing various stakeholders in the community.
Members of the Crescent Town neighbourhood are entitled to a free membership, granting them access to the gym's recreational facilities. Non-residents can also join by paying a membership fee. The gym offers a variety of programs, including fitness classes, sports clubs, and special camps, all of which may have additional fees for participation.
In addition to its fitness programs, Crescent Town Fitness Centre leases space to community groups and organizations for a range of activities and services. The Board of Directors, led by President Matt Walter-Connoy, oversees the operation and management of the gym, while General Manager Anil Narayan and Facility Administrator Maria Antonopoulos ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the facility. Program Manager Kristal Arseneau coordinates a variety of programs for all age groups, while Maintenance staff, led by Matt Fairbairn, keep the gym in top condition for members to enjoy.
