Reset Yoga Glasgow is thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all individuals looking to embark on their yoga journey in 2024. Starting something new can feel intimidating – we understand those nerves all too well. However, rest assured that everyone in this course will be starting at the beginner level, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all. Our exceptional teacher, Nola, is renowned for cultivating a relaxed and Glasgow-friendly environment while imparting her vast knowledge and unwavering dedication to the practice. This course serves as your gateway to building confidence for your regular studio yoga classes, encouraging you to embrace your inner curiosity and courage as you explore the endless possibilities within your yoga practice.
Over the course of four weeks, you will not only learn the fundamentals of yoga but also uncover the invaluable qualities of self-awareness, acceptance, compassion, patience, gratitude, forgiveness, humility, love, peace, and joy. Imagine a cosy, non-judgmental space where we will come together for an enjoyable hour each week. Our sessions will seamlessly blend playful asanas (postures), calming pranayama (breath control), Dhyana (concentration), and meditation, gradually increasing the excitement levels. We have allocated ample time for questions, note-taking, and of course, a cup of tea to enhance the experience. By the conclusion of the course, armed with foundational tools, you will confidently stride into any studio class as an eager student.
As wisely stated by Aadil Palkhivala, “True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be practised; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for profound transformation; for it to truly be yoga, its essence must be embodied.” Reset Yoga Glasgow looks forward to guiding you on this transformative journey towards embracing the essence of yoga and living a more mindful, balanced life.
