About
Dear Sports Community,
Chris, the organiser of Copsewood West Indian Wanderers Cricket Club in Coventry, Warwickshire, has a quick note to share.
Nestled at the Copsewood Sports Pavilion on Allard Way, this club is all about inclusivity and making everyone feel welcome—no matter your background or skill level.
Chris wants you to know that the club's pavilion boasts modern facilities and ample parking, making it easy for everyone to join in. They're big on nurturing talent, and offer coaching sessions for all ages, from juniors to seniors. With dedicated, experienced coaching staff, everyone gets the support needed to improve their game.
There are several teams to get involved with, including the 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI, 4th XI, Midweek XI, Sunday Friendly XI, and a Twenty20 team. This means there's a spot for every player, regardless of ability, to contribute to the club’s success. Beyond the cricket, Chris organises social events throughout the year to keep the camaraderie strong and the atmosphere enjoyable for all members.
Local sponsors also play a big part in supporting the club's initiatives, providing the financial backing needed for growth and success.
Interested in joining as a player or supporter? Chris encourages you to get in touch. New players are always welcome, and the club is ready to assist with any information you might need to become a member.
Best regards,
Chris and the Copsewood West Indian Wanderers Cricket Club Team
