Connections Dance School is Thunder Bay's leading destination for non-competitive and early years dance education. Founded in 2022, our school aims to provide high-quality dance programming that is inclusive and accessible for all ages. With a range of classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, and musical theatre, we offer a diverse selection of dance styles for students to explore and grow in.
Our Young Dancer program is designed for children aged 2 to 5 and provides a nurturing environment for young dancers to develop their skills in ballet, tap, and jazz. Our Primary Dancer program caters to children aged 5 to 9, offering a more dedicated dance experience for students in grades 1-3. For elementary-aged dancers aged 9 to 13, our Elementary Dancer program provides beginner classes in ballet, tap, jazz, and acro for students in grades 3-8.
In addition to our regular dance programs, we offer a range of extracurricular activities to enhance the dance experience for our students. From workshops and masterclasses to performance opportunities and community events, we strive to create a fun and engaging dance community for all.
Owned and operated by Alisia Cameron, Connections Dance School is a labour of love for Alisia, who has been a part of the Thunder Bay dance community for many years. Her passion for dance and commitment to providing a safe and inclusive dance environment for all dancers are evident in everything we do at Connections Dance School.
