Attention sports enthusiasts! Colchester Indoor Bowls Club, CIBC, situated in Colchester, Essex, is your premier destination for indoor bowling action since 1982. Affiliated with the EIBA, ECIBA, and the London & Southern Counties Bowling Association, CIBC stands as a pillar in the bowling community.

Keith Cullis leads the charge as Club Manager, backed by five dedicated Assistant Stewards. With 674 active bowlers and 125 social members, CIBC is bustling with energy.

CIBC invites members of all ages, though children under three are not permitted in the bowling area or bar. A thriving Junior Section meets on Sunday evenings during winter, offering reduced rates and a selection of bowls suitable for players up to age 25.

Six premier bowling rinks await you, complemented by on-site amenities including a restaurant, bar, shop, and changing rooms. The club's viewing gallery is a spectator’s dream, while accessible facilities ensure everyone can join in on the action.

Committed to sustainability, CIBC has transitioned to LED lighting and a state-of-the-art electrical air source heat pump system, enhancing lighting and climate control while cutting energy use. An MVHR system boosts air circulation and heat efficiency, underlining the club’s green initiatives.

Open year-round, CIBC operates from 08:00 to 23:00 in winter and 08:00 to 21:30 in summer. Please note, weekend bowling isn't available in summer, but keep an eye out for social events.
