In Coffs Yoga and Pilates, located in the picturesque suburb of Korora in Coffs Harbour, Australia, balance is at the forefront. Founded with the intention of creating harmony between the body and mind, this studio serves as a sanctuary for individuals looking to practise Pilates and yoga. Whether attending in-studio classes or joining online sessions through Balanced Beings Online, Coffs Yoga and Pilates offers a wide range of classes designed to educate, relieve stress, improve functional movement, strengthen the core, and enhance balance and posture.
Within the studio, there are various class options available, including Reformer Pilates, Pilates mat, Mums and bubs, Barre, HIIT, and Yoga. For those seeking a more personalised experience, semi-private and private sessions are also offered. Those unable to attend in-studio sessions can still benefit from online classes, which include Pilates with and without props, Barre, Yoga, HIIT, outdoor cardio-strength/run training, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
Coffs Yoga and Pilates aims to provide balance not only within the body and mind but also within life itself. The studio's online classes are prerecorded, allowing individuals to practise at their convenience and access classes anytime, anywhere. This wellness hub was created to enable frequent practise and complement in-studio sessions. Local residents of Coffs Harbour are encouraged to join both the studio and online families, where they will experience boosted strength, function, and recovery.
These improvements are beneficial for rehabilitation, maintaining optimal physical performance, and promoting vitality and longevity in daily life.
The studio offers classes at convenient times, including Mums and bubs sessions held six days a week. These sessions are thoughtfully scheduled just after school drop-off and just before school pick-up to accommodate parents. Coffs Yoga and Pilates was founded by parents who wanted to create a space that catered to their needs and desires.
Please note that there is a 24-hour cancellation policy at Coffs Yoga and Pilates. If a class is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, the class credit is automatically returned to the member's account. However, if a class is cancelled within 24 hours, the class credit is forfeited. Additionally, discounted credit packs can be purchased for all class types and saunas, excluding workshops and massages.
These discounted credits are valid for ten weeks from the purchase date, are for individual use only, and cannot be shared with friends or family.
To prepare for classes, participants are asked to bring a mat to all sessions and workshops, excluding Reformer classes. It is also recommended to have a water bottle, as water purifiers are available on-site. Grip socks are required for Reformer classes and are available for purchase at the studio.
In addition to Pilates and yoga classes, Coffs Yoga and Pilates also offer the benefits of infrared therapy through their infrared sauna. With this sauna, individuals have complete control over their experience. They can choose from pre-set programmes that offer targeted heat intervals, customised to support specific health goals. Additionally, a custom setting allows users to select their preferred temperature and duration, providing a relaxing and personalised sauna session.
The studio uses Solocarbon heating technology, ensuring consistent and penetrating infrared heat without any cold or abrasive hot spots.
At Coffs Yoga and Pilates, balance begins, and individuals are invited to embark on a journey of wellness and harmony within their bodies, minds, and lives.
