Coast Pool @ Padstow Holiday Park is a stunning indoor swimming pool located within the Padstow Holiday Park in Padstow, New Zealand. To ensure a smooth swimming experience, booking a swim session in advance is required. Each session lasts for 45 minutes and starts on the hour. There are three bookable slots available per session, with each slot accommodating up to four people. If your family group exceeds four members, it is necessary to book two slots at the same time to accommodate everyone.
Becoming a member of Coast Pool is free and available to both residents and guests of The Retreats @ Padstow Holiday Park, as well as individuals living in the Padstow Area. Membership forms can be accessed online for residents and guests, and for locals as well.
Booking a swim session is made easy through their online platform, allowing you to reserve a slot up to seven days in advance. It is important to note that a maximum of two children is allowed per responsible adult. To ensure a smooth check-in process, it is recommended to arrive on time and preferably ready to swim. A member of the team will check you in and verify your membership cards.
For first-time swimmers, new cards will be issued.
Coast Pool offers various pricing options to suit your needs. Prices for a single swim and swim passes (5, 10, and 20) are available for adults (16+), children (3-15), and infants (under 3). Additionally, a swim pass option will be introduced starting from Monday, 15th January 2024.
The pool operates on specific opening times throughout the week. It is closed on Mondays and open from 9 am to 4:45 pm on Tuesdays to Sundays. Membership renewals and amendments are required on 1st November each year to ensure accurate information is maintained. A form is available for members to renew their membership or update their details.
Coast Pool has its set of rules and regulations in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all. It is essential to abide by these rules, some of which include no lifeguard on duty, the requirement of a membership card for entry, restrictions on swimming duration during busy periods, and a shower before entering the pool. Other rules include no running on the poolside, no diving, no pushing or bullying, no acrobatics, and restrictions on swim equipment such as facemasks, flippers, and snorkels.
In addition to pool-specific rules, there are general rules that apply to all swimmers. Non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times, swimmers under the age of 16 must also be accompanied by an adult, and courtesy and respect towards others are expected. Food, drinks, and glass are not allowed on the poolside, and the appropriate swimming attire must be worn. Pets, outdoor shoes, and pushchairs are also not permitted in the pool building.
For children under the age of 3, swimming nappies are mandatory. Ordinary nappies are not allowed, and swim nappies can be purchased from the pool reception.
