Coast Academy of Song and Dance

Welcome to Coast Academy of Song and Dance, located in Cooroy, Queensland, Australia. Coast Academy of Song and Dance, or CASD, is a performing arts group dedicated to providing children with top-quality training in musical theatre, acting, singing, and dancing.

At CASD, we offer children's singing, dancing, and acting tuition for ages Prep to Grade 12. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to shine on stage, and our team of experienced and passionate instructors are committed to helping each student reach their full potential. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has previous experience in the performing arts, we have classes tailored to suit their needs.

Our musical theatre classes are available for children Grade Prep to Grade 12, and incorporate singing, dancing, and acting training. We teach a foundation of ballet and jazz/commercial dance styles, providing a well-rounded education for our students. Throughout the year, we perform two musical theatre shows, giving every child the chance to showcase their talents on stage. Solo singing roles are cast based on an informal audition at the beginning of every rehearsal process, ensuring fair opportunities for all.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer holiday workshops for children to further enhance their skills and have a blast during their school breaks. Our workshops give children the opportunity to learn a mini-musical in just one week. They also get to be crafty and make sets and props, play fun games, and perform their show on the last afternoon for friends and family. Plus, if you refer a friend who also enrols, you'll receive a 15% discount!

We understand the importance of scheduling flexibility, which is why our classes run weekly during school terms. Please note that classes are also held on public holidays.
