This fantastic event is specially designed for 2-5 year olds and offers a wonderful opportunity for parents or carers to join in on the climbing fun with their little ones.
Taking place every Tuesday from 10.30am to 11.15am, Climbing Tots is a 45-minute instructor-led session that guarantees a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. With an instructor present to oversee the class, parents or carers can act as 'spotters' for their child, ensuring their safety throughout the session.
At Climbing Tots, children are encouraged to participate in activities at their own pace, allowing them to feel comfortable and confident in their climbing abilities. It's important to note that participation in all activities is not mandatory, so children can engage in the ones that suit them best. And guess what? Adults are also encouraged to join in the fun and get their hearts pumping while playing and exercising with their little ones.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable climbing experience, it is recommended that children wear comfortable clothing and close-fitting trainers. Don't worry if you don't have climbing shoes, as they can be borrowed for free! Plus, the sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to socialise with other parents and carers, making it a great way to connect and build friendships within the local climbing community.
We understand that siblings may want to join in or watch the fun as well. While siblings are more than welcome, it's significant to note that if both children are climbing, they will need to take turns on the wall to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to experience the thrill of climbing. Additionally, we kindly ask that babies and children under 2 stay clear of any fall zones to ensure their safety.
