In this course, you'll be introduced to bite-sized Tango movements that can be combined in an improvised and creative way, allowing you to create beautiful dances. The best part? You don't need a partner to join this course. Even if you've never danced social Tango before, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can create a completely improvised dance.
For those who already dance Argentine Tango and want to learn the opposite role, this class is ideal. It's also a great opportunity for those who want to reconnect with Tango after a long break, as you'll receive a fantastic refresh of your core skills. The Basic Technique course is the perfect place to improve your dancing and make it clear enough to dance with anyone, regardless of their skill level.
If you're attending our Exploring Tango class, we encourage you to also join the Basic Technique course. Not only will it support those who may be less experienced, but it will also allow you to get the most out of your evening.
The Basic Technique Course covers various elements necessary for Argentine Tango, while the Exploring Tango class is a drop-in class suitable for dancers with at least one year of Tango experience. The evening will include practice time, the Basic Technique class, more practice time, the Exploring Tango class, and additional practice time.
The price for the evening is £10, but we also offer package options. You can choose to pay £45 for 5 consecutive weeks or £85 for 10 consecutive weeks. If you're an absolute Tango novice and decide to join us after your first class, we kindly ask you to commit to your first 10 weeks with the £85 payment option. However, if you decide not to continue, you can simply pay the evening price.
