Inspired by the supportive and healing aspects of the discipline, Clare underwent 600 hours of course work, student teaching hours, observation, and self-practise to become a fully comprehensive studio instructor. She is particularly interested in spine care and the menopause transition, holding certifications with the Menopause Movement and being a professional affiliate of the Menopause Society. Clare has also studied with the Franklin Institute as a Pelvic Floor Fascia Trainer and is a professional member of BackCare, a charity for supporting spine health.
Additionally, she is registered with The Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise as a pre and postnatal exercise and nutrition instructor.
Clare Roberts Pilates is dedicated to providing personalised and bespoke teaching practises. Clare's approach involves demonstration, communication, and the use of props to articulate the rationale behind key Pilates principles such as alignment, breath control, and pace. Each client receives tailored programming of exercises on the Reformer, Pilates Arc, and the Mat, challenging their bodies and complementing their weekly fitness routines.
