Welcome to CIYMS, the Church of Ireland Young Mens Society, known in sporting circles simply as “C. I.”. Nestled in the spacious grounds of Circular Road, Belmont, CIYMS stands as one of Belfast's most historic and respected sporting organisations.

At CIYMS, sports enthusiasts of all ages can find their place. Catering to a membership of 1,600, including 800 youths under 18, CIYMS opens its doors to everyone, regardless of religious background. Originally aimed at young men from the Church of Ireland, CIYMS now embraces all faiths, with female members contributing significantly across the board, underscoring the club’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

CIYMS puts sports, leisure, and social activities at the forefront. Adults can always find something engaging, thanks to the diverse range of events the various sections and clubs organise throughout the year. Whether it’s barbecues, treasure hunts, musical evenings, or quizzes, there’s always something happening. Plus, the friendly atmosphere of the Members Room provides the perfect spot for some relaxation and lively conversation.

With a rich history and a bright future, CIYMS has continually invested in its facilities, including a new pavilion, ensuring it stays prepared and well-equipped for what's next.
