Her choreography has been presented at Dance Ontario Dance Weekend since 2008. Jennifer graduated from the Quinte Ballet School of Canada in 1998 and has since enhanced her knowledge through workshops and intensives with renowned individuals such as Baryshnikov, Desmond Richardson, and Crystal Pite. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her work and continues to inspire students through her teaching and mentorship.
Jennifer is a member of CORPUS, Dance Ontario, CanDance Network and the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists. About With over 20 years of teaching experience, Sarah Mitchell brings a wealth of knowledge to City Dance Arts. Graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performance Dance from Ryerson University, Sarah has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance forms. She also holds an Advanced certificate in Ballet teaching studies from the Royal Academy of Dance and is a certified instructor with the Acrobatic Arts program.
Sarah has performed nationally and internationally with various dance companies and has been a guest artist at several dance festivals. Her choreography has been showcased at numerous venues around Toronto, receiving critical acclaim. Sarah's passion for dance and teaching shines through in her classes, where she focuses on developing students' technical abilities while nurturing their artistic growth. She believes in creating a positive and inspiring environment where students can explore their creativity and reach their full potential.
Sarah is dedicated to providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for dancers of all ages and levels, helping them to discover the joy of dance and express themselves through movement.
