Welcome to CMA Victoria, the local Motorcycle club in Moira Shire! We're a group of bikers who love to ride and also happen to be Christians growing in their faith. Here at CMA, we offer an opportunity to belong to something bigger without the strict rules of a traditional Motorcycle Club. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join us on our rides.
Our area co-coordinators organise local rides where members can invite friends and meet at a specified time and place. With experienced members leading the rides, we ensure everyone's safety while enjoying the thrill of the ride.
Several times a year, riders from different areas come together in a central location for combined rides. These rides can last 3–4 hours, giving you a full day of riding for some. It's an excellent opportunity to meet other members from around Victoria and share the joy of riding.
Once a year, we have our state Gathering of Bikers, where riders from all over the state come together for a weekend away. It's a time for fellowship and camaraderie, with different accommodation options available, including camping, dormitories, or cabins.
And let's not forget about our national CMA run! Each year, we gather in a different state for this exciting event. After the run, we continue the adventure with a Post Run Tour, exploring new places and enjoying 3–4 days of riding. It's a great way to see the country and meet members from other states.
But it's not just about riding. During the winter months, when the weather isn't ideal, our coordinators organise social events for members to catch up and invite friends. Rain or shine, we find ways to come together and have a good time.
We also believe in giving back. Our members are encouraged to visit churches around the country to promote CMA and encourage individuals to grow in their faith. In fact, we even organise Church Raids where we ride to a town for a weekender, stay overnight, and participate in church services. We share our testimonies, deliver messages, and offer locals a ride on our bikes. It's always a hit!
Lastly, we run our annual Bikes for Pastors Appeal. This is a special initiative where we raise funds for Christian ministries in developing countries. With these funds, we purchase motorcycles for pastors working in rugged terrains, enabling them to carry out their important work, including evangelism, pastoral care, and church planting.
