About
Welcome to Cheyney Croquet Club, located in the charming village of Ringmer in East Sussex. This small and friendly club takes its name from the Cheyney Field, where our well-maintained lawn is situated. The Cheyney Field is owned by a charitable organisation, aptly named the Cheyney Charity.
At Cheyney Croquet Club, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our members. Whether you are a seasoned croquet player or just starting out, you will find a warm reception within our club. We encourage anyone interested in joining to contact our membership secretary, Alan and Sue Tompsett, via email at alanandsuetompsett@gmail. Com or by phone at 01273 810813.
The club offers both golf croquet and association croquet sessions. Golf croquet sessions are held every Wednesday at 2 pm and Saturdays at 10 am throughout the season, which typically spans from mid-April to mid-October. For those interested in association croquet, sessions are held on Tuesdays at 2 pm. Additionally, members have the opportunity to book sessions at their convenience.
We invite anyone interested or curious about croquet to attend any of these club sessions to meet our members and give the sport a try.
As a member of the Croquet Association, Cheyney Croquet Club is committed to upholding the highest standards of the sport. We are dedicated to promoting and developing croquet in the area, as well as providing a supportive community for our members. We encourage active participation and welcome any feedback or questions you may have about the club or our website.
Furthermore, we look forward to welcoming you to Cheyney Croquet Club and sharing the joy of this delightful sport with you. For login information or any queries, please use the email address provided.
