We believe in the importance of finding a balance within your body and mind, and meditation is an excellent way to achieve this. Through guided meditation sessions, our experienced teachers will help you create a sense of equilibrium and harmony.
For those looking to shed some extra kilos, our active and intense styles of yoga can help you burn calories while improving strength and flexibility. Additionally, if you have high blood pressure, yoga has been known to help lower blood pressure levels and improve cardiovascular health. Our classes at Cherry Yoga are designed to cater to individuals of all levels and abilities. Our Saturday morning class, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am, is the perfect way to start your weekend on a positive note. We encourage you to arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in and set up your space.
Please note that our yoga styles may differ slightly depending on the training backgrounds of each teacher. We honour the uniqueness of each person and understand that everybody has its own level of strength and flexibility. That is why modifications and variations are always offered to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
Cherry Yoga's signature class, Yin Yoga, focuses on deeper stretches and relaxation. In this restful and meditative style of yoga, poses are held for approximately 3 to 5 minutes at a time, allowing a profound stretch that penetrates the connective tissues of the body. This practise is particularly beneficial for those who engage in high-impact activities and seek a complementary practise to restore balance.
