Centenary Yoga

Centenary Yoga, located in Sinnamon Park, is a welcoming and inclusive yoga studio that aims to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Their mission is to bring the benefits of yoga practise to the community, helping individuals on their journey to self-acceptance, confidence, stability, strength, flexibility, and relaxed self-awareness. With a focus on “wellbeing for your whole being,” they are passionate about helping their students establish a regular yoga practise that will build strength, resilience, and flexibility. In addition, yoga can help release emotional blockages and unhealthy habits, providing tools for individuals to become the best version of themselves.

The studio is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets, and other props, but students are also welcome to bring their own yoga mats and any other personal equipment they may need. Centenary Yoga offers a variety of classes, workshops, and events to cater to different interests and needs. They have a dedicated class for beginners on Monday evenings, along with regular Deep Restorative Yoga sessions, Women's Circles, and Yin Yoga classes. Additionally, they organise retreats in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, providing opportunities for individuals to slow down, connect with nature, and deepen their yoga practise.

Centenary Yoga values community engagement and offers free teacher-led discussions called Satsang, where participants can explore various yoga philosophies. They also showcase their past events, such as gallery exhibitions, to highlight the diverse experiences and interests of their students.
