Cedar River Yoga, located in Terrace, offers Private Physio-Yoga Sessions with a registered physiotherapist. This unique holistic rehabilitation approach combines evidence-based Physiotherapy and Yoga therapy to address individual needs and goals for the treatment, management, and prevention of a variety of conditions. A thorough history taking and full biomechanical and musculoskeletal assessment is completed by a registered physiotherapist, upon which a highly specific, individualized yoga program is designed. Sessions include elements of therapeutic exercise, yoga poses, breath work, and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, as appropriate.
This service is covered by most insurance plans, following a full physiotherapy assessment. All yoga instruction is held at the clinic and taught by Natasha Papachristoforou, a Registered Physiotherapist and Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher.
Natasha has been a student of yoga since 2005 and began teaching in 2012. She has accumulated hundreds of hours of study with renowned teachers and currently teaches anatomy for yoga teacher training programs worldwide. Natasha draws from her extensive movement background and education as a physiotherapist to provide safe and effective instruction.
