Carine Netball Club

Carine Netball Club is a well-established sports club located in Perth, Western Australia. With a rich history spanning over 20 years, the club's primary focus is to encourage and develop young players in the sport of netball in the Carine area and its surrounding suburbs.

One of the club's core values is inclusivity, as they strive to ensure that all players who register during the designated period in January are guaranteed a spot on a team regardless of their skill level. This commitment to providing opportunities for all players has contributed to the phenomenal growth the club has experienced in recent years.

Carine Netball Club is an official member of the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association and hosts matches at the prestigious Kingsway Sporting Complex. NetSetGo matches for younger players take place on Fridays, while all other age groups compete on Saturdays from May to September.

Being a volunteer-run organisation, the club greatly appreciates the support and assistance provided by parents to efficiently manage and maintain a club of this size for the benefit of the young players. They also offer training courses for coaches and umpires, ensuring that the necessary skills and knowledge are provided to enhance the overall netball experience for everyone involved.

In terms of membership, winter registration for NetSetGo (years 2 to 5) and 11U and above closes in advance. Game days and times for the different age groups are scheduled accordingly, with fees varying based on the age category. NetSetGo players have different fees due to the rates set by the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association.

For training, NetSetGo teams practise on Wednesday afternoons at the Carine Open Space Netball Courts, while preseason training for 11U and above is held at the same venue on Wednesdays from February onwards. Grading sessions are conducted in February to ensure that players are placed on teams that align with their skill levels, and all sessions during this period are mandatory.
