Carine Callisthenics Club is located in Perth, Western Australia, and has been a part of the local community for over 40 years. With a dedicated team of qualified coaches and volunteers, our club provides a safe and supportive environment for children aged 3 and above to participate in callisthenics.
At Carine Callisthenics Club, we believe in the value of teamwork and self-discipline. Callisthenics is not only a physical activity but also a sport that builds self-esteem and confidence in every participant. Through the combination of gymnastics, dance, simplified ballet, and more, our members develop strength, flexibility, and coordination while expressing themselves on stage.
Our classes at Carine Callisthenics Club are structured around various team-based items that encompass different aspects of callisthenics. These include rod manipulation, club swings, marching, free exercise, aesthetics, and a “fancy” item that changes every year to provide variety and challenge. Each item focuses on different skills such as technical abilities, hand-eye coordination, rhythm, spatial awareness, core strength, and emotional expression.
We understand that callisthenics is a unique sport, and that's why we invite you to join us for a 2-week free trial to see if it's the right fit for your child. During this trial period, they will have the opportunity to experience the joy of callisthenics and develop an understanding of the sport's benefits. In addition to our regular classes, Carine Callisthenics Club also participates in interclub competitions and the CAWA State Championships. These events allow our members to showcase their skills and compete against other clubs in a supportive and encouraging environment. We believe in fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendship among our members, and these competitions provide a platform for them to bond as a team.
Enrolments for 2023 are currently open, and we welcome all new applicants to join us for a 2-week free trial before enrolling. Our goal is to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for every child while promoting physical fitness and skill development. With our caring and friendly environment, we strive to create lifelong memories and friendships at Carine Callisthenics Club.
