Whether you're an experienced player or a complete beginner, we cater to all levels of play and are always excited to welcome new members. With multiple teams competing at local, regional, and national levels, there's a place for everyone to get involved in the sport they love.
Our flagship ladies team, the Cardiff Falcons, proudly competes in the NVL 2 South West, while our men's team, the Cardiff Panthers, takes on the challenge of NVL 3 South West. In addition to these teams, we also have teams in regional and local leagues, offering opportunities for less experienced players to develop their skills and play competitively if they choose.
If you're just starting out in volleyball, our Beginners, and Developers training programme is the perfect place to begin. This programme teaches the fundamental skills of volleyball and prepares players for competitive play. It has been incredibly popular, with new players joining us virtually every week.
Beyond the sport itself, Cardiff Volleyball Club is also a community of diverse individuals from various backgrounds and nationalities. We welcome everyone and ensure that every new member is made to feel at ease from the moment they attend their first session. It's a perfect opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and have a lot of fun!
Throughout the year, the club organises several annual events, including the Cardiff Open and the Tenby beach tournament. These events provide additional opportunities for players to test their skills and bond with their teammates. We also host regular social events, such as casual mixed level tournaments and outdoor volleyball during the summer. And for those of us old enough, we've even been known to enjoy a trip to the pub on occasion!
