CAP Dance and Fitness, a local Ballet club in Hungerford, offers a variety of dance and fitness programs for people of all ages. Their approach is centred around fun, fitness, music, and movement, with a focus on developing dance skills, improving coordination, and promoting overall fitness.
For those interested in ballet, CAP Dance and Fitness provides classes for both recreational dancers and pre-professional students. Ballet is considered the foundation for all other dance forms, and it enhances strength, flexibility, pose, and grace. Through ballet, students of all ages can learn coordination, confidence, and spatial awareness. CAP also offers RAD exams, which are internationally recognised and can earn UCAS points in the UK.
With classes available in three locations – East Grafton Coronation Hall, Woolton Hill Church Hall, and Shalbourne Pavilion – CAP Dance and Fitness aims to make dance accessible to all. They also offer the flexibility to set up corporate or private events at suitable locations preferred by their clients, making it convenient and personalised.
The principal of CAP, Miss Charlotte Price, has a wealth of dance teaching qualifications and experience. She is a registered RAD teacher, an Associate of the NATD, and has certifications in various fitness disciplines. Miss Charlotte has also performed in prestigious venues such as London's West End and Disneyland Paris. Now, she finds joy in teaching, coaching students for exams, directing school productions, and choreographing for festivals.
Miss Emma, another teacher at CAP, brings her experience in professional musical theatre to the classroom. With a varied career as a performer and dance teacher around the world, she has danced on cruise ships, worked as a showgirl in Europe, and filmed for well-known brands. Currently, she tours the UK in a Motown Show and teaches a range of dance classes at CAP.
At CAP Dance and Fitness, you can also explore other dance styles apart from ballet. They offer ISTD Modern & Jazz classes, focusing on core stability, flexibility, strength, and power in movements such as leaps, turns, and high kicks. Additionally, you can join their NATD Disco & Freestyle sessions, which involve rhythmic and energetic dance styles.
Whether you're a preschooler, an adult, a recreational dancer, or a pre-professional student, CAP Dance and Fitness provides a welcoming and enjoyable environment for individuals to explore their passion for dance and fitness. So come and join CAP and discover the joy of dance!
