Canons Athletic Track, located in Mitcham, is a historic running track that has recently undergone a restoration project. The track, which dates back to the 1920s, was once the home of the Mitcham Athletics Club and has now been brought back to its former glory. The obelisk, which was first constructed in 1822, has been repaired, and the area surrounding it has been transformed into a new entrance to the Canons House & Grounds.
Canons House itself, a Grade II* listed building, has been restored and will serve as a joint community and workspace. This beautiful historic house adds to the overall appeal of the location.
