Steve, the organiser, from Canons Leisure Centre in Mitcham, has a friendly message for the sports community. Situated right by the Cricket Green, this centre is at the heart of Mitcham life, offering loads of health and fitness activities for all ages and abilities.
Steve wants to highlight that their gym is kitted out with over 130 stations, including cardio equipment, resistance machines, and free weights. Plus, there's more than 50 weekly fitness classes in the main studio and a dedicated group cycle studio.
For swimming fans, there's a 25m pool, a 10.5m teaching pool, and a small children's slide. There are also special swimming sessions to cater to different community needs.
If team sports are more your thing, Steve is excited to tell you about their 6 badminton courts, 2 squash courts, and MUGA pitches. Need a meeting room? They've got one for hire. And don't forget to relax and refuel at the centre's Café.
