During the beginner course, participants will be introduced to the syllabus required for their first grading, giving them a head start when they join the regular classes. The beginner classes are suitable for individuals aged 6 and above, as well as families who wish to train together. Currently, the Tuesday classes are reserved specifically for beginners.
Canda @ Fortitude Taekwondo also offers age-specific classes to cater to different age groups. The Ninja classes are designed for 3 to 5-year-olds and focus on developing balance, coordination, confidence, and respect. These classes are 30 minutes long and take place on either Mondays or Wednesdays at 4:30 pm.
The Dragon classes are for children aged 6 to 9 and provide a more intensive Taekwondo training experience. Participants will develop their Taekwondo skills and work towards earning their Black Belt. These classes are engaging and fun, helping children build confidence and learn valuable life skills. Dragon classes are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.
The club also offers mixed-age family classes, where exercises are tailored to accommodate individuals of varying skill levels. This enables families to train together and supports individuals on their journey towards achieving their Black Belt. The minimum age for a family class is 6 when accompanied by an adult or 13+ when unaccompanied. These classes are held at 6:45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
