If you're a beginner looking to dip your toes into the world of Rock n Roll dancing, the Beginner Course offered by the club is the perfect place to start. It teaches you the fundamentals and gets you comfortable on the dance floor. For the seasoned groovers out there, the Intermediate dance class will challenge and delight you with more advanced moves.
Dance classes start at pm, but feel free to come early for a dance or a friendly chat. The cost is $5 for club members, ensuring an affordable and inclusive experience for all. Non-members can also join in the fun for $10. And if you find yourself falling head over heels for Rock and Roll dancing and want to become a club member, there is a membership fee of $20.
The 2024 intermediate dance classes kick off on Tuesday 30 January and continue until 9 pm, while the beginners' classes start on Tuesday 6 February and wrap up at 8 pm. It's important to note that the dress code for Tuesday night classes is cool casual clothes and flat comfortable shoes that slide easily. Some dancers also choose to embrace the nostalgia and wear Rock n Roll dance attire for the Saturday night dances, but it's entirely optional.
