Cairngorm School of Dance

On enjoyment and personal development rather than strict technique. We believe that dance is a fantastic way to stay fit, relieve stress, and express oneself creatively. Whether you're a beginner looking to try something new or an experienced dancer wanting to refine your skills, our adult classes have something for everyone.

In addition to regular classes, we also offer workshops and intensives taught by industry professionals. These provide an opportunity for dancers to expand their knowledge and explore different styles. Previous workshops have included Krump, Parkour, Tap Attack, and Scottish Ballet. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community where dancers of all backgrounds and abilities can come together and grow.

Cairngorm School of Dance believes in the importance of performance opportunities. We regularly organise showcases and events in the local community, as well as participate in national festivals and competitions. Our adult dancers have the chance to be a part of these performances, allowing them to showcase their talent and gain valuable stage experience.

Many of our adult students have achieved incredible things in the dance world. Some have been selected for various association programmes across Scotland, such as the Scottish Ballet Associates and Morea Associates Programme. Others have gone on to pursue further training at esteemed institutions including Bird College London, Guildford School of Acting (GSA), Dance School Scotland, PASS Edinburgh, and Anniesland Glasgow. We are proud of our students' accomplishments and consider them to be a part of our dance family.
