Cae Hic Livery & Riding Centre is a small, family-run equestrian facility located in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, with convenient access to Chester, Wrexham, Mould, and surrounding areas. With over 20 years of experience working with horses and ponies, the owners, Nicky and Colin, have turned their passion into a full-time way of life.
While Cae Hic has recently undergone some restructuring, it remains open and committed to providing excellent services to its clients. As of 1st December 2022, the centre will no longer offer lessons on their own ponies or horses. However, all of their school ponies and horses, who have served many riders over the years, will be available for sale to new owners. Cae Hic also offers full livery services for these new owners, ensuring the well-being and care of their horses.
The centre prides itself on catering to riders of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner starting your horse riding journey or an experienced competition rider, Cae Hic has something for everyone. They offer tailored lessons to meet your individual goals and aspirations, from basic walking to completing full jumping courses in their dedicated jumping paddock. Accompanied by experienced instructors, these lessons help riders to improve their skills and build confidence.
Cae Hic is ideally situated for fantastic bridle paths and hacking opportunities right on the doorstep. The centre's experienced leaders accompany all hacks, guiding riders through the well-known routes and providing valuable insights along the way. This allows riders to explore the picturesque surroundings while feeling safe and secure.
Safety is a top priority at Cae Hic. The centre has on-site qualified instructors, as well as trained medical staff and first-aiders. This ensures that both riders and horses are well taken care of in case of any emergencies or accidents.
