At present, the club has two teams competing in the North Wales Cricket League. The 1st XI plays in Division One, showcasing the highest level of cricket expertise, while the 2nd XI competes in Division Two. Additionally, Pontblyddyn has a 3rd XI team that focuses on introducing young players to the longer format of the senior game. This team participates in the Sunday Third Team division, bridging the gap between junior and senior cricket.

In 2024, Pontblyddyn Cricket Club introduced a ladies team, demonstrating its commitment to promoting gender equality in the sport. This team competes in the NW cricket league, providing an excellent platform for female players to develop their skills and showcase their talent.

The club also boasts an impressive junior programme, with teams competing in various age groups, including under 9, 11, 13, and 15.
