Join the McLaren Vale Bowling Club for the Broadwood Memorial Bowls Day, a special event dedicated to remembering Stan & Neil. The day kicks off at 10:30 am and there's no entry fee required, so come along and enjoy the fun. For those new to the game, there's a beginner's tutorial starting at 11:00 am to get you up to speed.
Get ready to roll at 1:00 pm when the games begin. You'll play two matches of 11 ends each, with mixed teams drawn on the day. The competition will be fierce, but the atmosphere will be friendly and welcoming. Prizes up for grabs include $280 for the winning team and $160 for the runner-up team. Plus, there are novelty prizes for the most sociable player, best-dressed participant, and the person with the best hat or tie.
