Welcome to Bristol & West Hockey Club! Located in Winterbourne, we are one of the largest and most inclusive hockey clubs in the Bristol area. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, we have a team for you.
Our club boasts 6 men's teams, 4 ladies' teams, and a thriving junior section, making us a hub for hockey enthusiasts of all ages. From our youngest player at 8 years old to our seasoned Masters, there is a place for everyone at Bristol & West. We offer outdoor, indoor, summer, and winter hockey, ensuring that there is always something happening on the field.
Our home ground is at Mangotsfield School, with our clubhouse conveniently located nearby at the Cleve Rugby Football Club. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for players, their families, and their friends. Our goal is to deliver a great player experience, and we achieve this by promoting fun and enjoyment in our sporting activities.
Youth development is a key focus for us, and we are proud to be a leader in hockey development in the region. We also host prestigious hockey events and serve as a social meeting centre for our members. As a responsible and inclusive club, we place importance on being well-managed both professionally and financially.
